The K Foundation Congratulates Roosevelt School District!

Congratulations to all of the 5th graders in the Roosevelt School District who participated in the K Foundation's K is for Knowledge reading program.

Beginning in September 2005, participants were asked to read at least five hours outside of the classroom on a weekly basis. The kids were rewarded along the way with special prizes, such as a special lunch with Brandon at Chandler's Outback Steakhouse.

As a special thank you to those who completed the program, the children were rewarded with a field trip to an Arizona Diamondbacks game at Chase Field. A total of 150 children completed the K is for Knowledge Program.

Our thanks to Outback Steakhouse for sponsoring this worthwhile program. We look forward to another successful program this school year.
